Exception noted!

The company I work in is an Electrical (panels, relays, capacitors etc.) company and our dear Mr. M.D believes in Management by Exception. So anything which he thinks is not in place or being delayed unnecessarily is being noted as an exception by him which has an impact on the yearly Performance Appraisal. Today during a meeting with him he asked me about one activity which due to some confusion got neglected and after coming back from the meeting I got a mail from him with subject line: “Exception Noted” and at the end of mail “Explanations welcome!”.  I got completely mad and sad by reading that mail coz I never handled that part of work and due to someone’s negligence it got reported as my exception. I thought for a while whether or not I should reply him writing I was not handling that part but then only one dialogue was running in my mind from the movie Spider Man, “Whatever life holds in store for me, I will never forget these words: "With great power comes great responsibility” Although, no great powers have been delegated to me but yes as a reporting head of HR department I have to take the great responsibility for every bits and pieces of work that has been done and not done.  So whose neck should I grab now? Everyone has reasons for everything not done. But the point now is getting this neglected thing done by being as assertive and words coated with euphemism as the mail was.

It feels nice sometimes to see shock coming from nowhere all of sudden make you wake up and then express your feelings thru’ words smiley

christmas

My Christmas was joyful. I got what I wanted, an Ipod cromatic, the video one. I also got sweaters, and purfum. Backham and Halle Berry.

I spent alot of time with family. I got to see my aunt and uncle and cousins. Who I don't get to see a lot. I had a great time.

I got $90 for christmas and spent $82.00 on an xbox game, which was a wast of money.

Year 2009-Lessons from Mistakes

Another year passed. Another 365 days passed and like every year this year also bought lot of happy and some tearful days, like they say Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham.
For me this year has bought lot of memorable happy moments and luckily I have turned all my tearful moments into one of the most memorable moments of my life. I have learnt from my mistakes and honestly speaking I have enjoyed making mistakes.
My friend once asked me don’t you want to be perfect and I said No, coz perfection has no space for mistakes and mistakes in life can keep one learning new things and new lessons of life but like everything else conditions apply you are not supposed to repeat the mistake again there are so many things that you can do wrong why repeating the same thing, it’s so bore and you can say not at all kewl.
This year I have completed my Post Graduation in MBA, got job in the time of recession and also, atleast, started up well with my new year’s resolutions.
This year my resolution was to learn French, Guitar, Dance and get job. I am learning French, guitar, dance and already got the job. It feels nice to move in the right direction.
Now, some out of many things that I have learnt this year includes that to convert a bad situation in worst just panic. Believe in yourself coz no matter how many people believe in you or how many do not you are responsible for your act and decision. Listen to your heart and always remember your heart may not always say what others say and may guide you to the complete opposite direction but in any condition listen to your heart and follow the path it shows you, coz, tomorrow no matter how close people are with you, you will be the sole responsible person for all your acts and doing. They may share your success but not your failure. Even if they want to they can’t coz you were the decision maker they might have influenced you in coming out at some point but the final decision was yours.
I have also learnt that listening to our heart is the easiest thing but following it is the toughest. There are many obstacles on the way but there is no better pleasure than crossing those hurdles and come out with flying colors in hand.
I really take pride while saying this that I have come out with flying colors in my hand, made many mistakes which didn’t harm anyone but proved to be beneficial for me.
Make mistakes coz your mistakes tell that you are human, learn from those mistakes coz learning from it tell that you are a smart, intelligent human 

This day sucks!!!!! AHH!

I am VERY bored. Nothing else to do... forgot the rap in my locker, so can't work on that... I don't feel like reading, my head hurts enough as it is... yeah... this is dumb!
But the upside is, I get to hang out with my bf today! Woot, go me. All day it's been boring... the whole Rememberance Day stuff, that was just boring... no word of a lie, I felt like sleeping through the whole assembly! Ever since I was in grade 1 I've seen the same thing over and over again... it never changes! But then again... it's a tradition for Canada... but it's still boring!
And God Damn this Global Warming crap! Only if Canada was summer all year long, then I'd be happier. It got cold WAY too fast, and summer went buh-bye too fast as well. Global Warming sucks... why don't we just go back to horses and carrages, screw technology... the only things we use on a daily basis is computers, phones, shuttles, radio's, and tv's... get rid of everything else!
Also... people suck... I'm not explaining this, but they do. Otherwise, I have two more days to put up with them and then it's the weekend!!! Yay. And now I shall waste 20 minutes of my time and do nothing until school ends!

Go me.
xo.Shawna.

Making a Difference.

Learning from past history lessons within my life, I have only learned of a few wars... The Spartan vs. Persain Wars, World War 1, World War 2, and the war that is going on today with Iraqies. I think war is wrong, and President George W. Bush is a fruitcake for sending troops to Iraq, Afganistan, and Iran to war for Oil. Like, c'mon... thats stupid, even though it puts more money in his pocket, it's still stupid! Iraq, Afganistan and Iran can make themselves a rich country for their Oil themselves if they felt like it, even though they use most of their money on artillary to fight back the Americans. But you see, Bush lost his spot in the election considering he had his 8 years in the position, he also was apart of the comsperiacy of 9/11 attack.
These wars that had occured, such as WW1 and WW2, they were over something dumb. WW1 caused Pearl Harbar, and killed many people, the Japaneese were mad, sure... but it didn't mean that they could bomb innocent civilians. WW2 was just chaos, Abolf Hitler was a nut job, he didn't know what he was doing... how can ONE person take over all of Germany, it's huge, and he also has the balls to try and take over a part of Russia, and he invades Spain, and France, while Canada, the United States were defending most of Spain and France. I hate war. I really do, as much as I want to learn more about it, it makes me mad about how many stupid people think they can rule the world, contanent, or country... c'mon... you're ONE person over 600 million or more. War is stupid... we should all stop and be friends. =)

Night... (The Holocaust)

By reading this article about the Holocaust, I know the writer is right. Learning and hearing about the Holocaust is a scary thing... yes, many Jews got slaughtered, and worked many jobs to obtain the honor and appreciation of the Nazi's. I disagree with what the Nazi's did, even though I am German myself. Adolf was a nut case, he wasn't thinking... not only did he violate the Human Rights Act, but he also took many lives for nothing at all. He blamed the Jews for the war, and for many other things that they had nothing to do with.
"Perhaps we need a museum of the good, a curriculum founded in the skills and rhythms of decency. We need peace experts instead of military experts talking about Iraq on FOX TV. We need mediators instead of just lawyers on Court TV. We need movies, and heroes, and moving stories that win Academy Awards, and models for our children that lead them to the contentment of cooperation and fairness rather than to brutal examples drawn from the play-by-play of violence and wrong that appears with every other click of the zapper." I like this whole paragraph. The writer is right... instead of having the experts and society claiming the army and disposing the horrors of people who lost their lives for something someone else did is wrong. No one should see any of this... I've seen the museums they did for the Holocaust, they protect the Nazi's more than the Jews, and thats where everyone gets the instinct that Adolf and the Nazi crew did the right thing.
"What we saw had been placed in history's context; we had been taught not just brutal endings but also far more instructive beginnings, and we got to see not just evil's horror but also its accompanying banality." Even though when teachers, professors or others explain the Holocaust they don't really discribe how it happened or discribe the Jew's perspective. The Nazi's walked in to their community and forced them all to leave and basically put them in their own graves. Everyone hears about the Nazi's perspective, and they go along with what the Nazi's did but don't hear the screaming and suffering the Jews had to proclaim to get their freedom after Adolf commited suicide near the end of WW2, in 1945.

Human rights

For all the people who are victims of the violations of Human Rights are not the only ones that are being victimized... there are many countries and many regions that are violating the Rights commity.
In 1863, during the American civil war, President Abraham Lincon signed the Emancipation Proclamation that delaired all black slaves of America be free. The Civil Rights Movement delclaired in 1954-1968 was to abolish racial discrimination against African Americans, particularily in the Southern United States. The black lived in their own societies, they were put in their own regions keeping them separated from the whites... the blacks had their own jobs, and duties, and everytime the blacks aboarded the buses they had to sit in the back at all times.By 1966, the emergance of the Black Power movement, which lasted between 1966- 1975, expanded upon the aims of the Civil Rights Movement to include econimic and political self-efficiency, and freedom from the white authority. In 2008, Democratic senator Barak Obama defeated Republican senator John McCain to become the first Black American elected to office of President of the United States of America.
Everyone is avoiding these rights, even though we have abolished the laws and acts of a civil union of the black, native, asain, etc. community, some others still disagree and use harmful words and actions to show that they dominate their country and territory. The Human Rights commity should re-enact these laws to the citizens of America and Canada so that no one feels unwelcome to a foreign country.

Brightened Me!

While sitting here in the office sipping a cup of tea that the Minj (office boy) gave me I saw the Sun brightened in the sky. It felt nice to see Sun after so many days. Generally we cannot see sun during rainy days but within a second it started raining and my brightened eyes again came back into my laptop to continue the work. To my surprise the next thing I saw was Sun brightened again in the sky accompanied with rain. This time not just my eyes but my entire face brightened up to see rain and sun together. I smiled and blinked at the sky coz I know someone is up there who not just wanted to see my brightened eyes but entire face with a smile 

no such as thing stupid or smart

for any creature in the world have different world point a veiw. as it is say, smart or stupid , there is no need to identify each other like that becuase no one created themselve, so if are smart is not the matter the matter is who created them why are they different, but calling them smart is not the important becuase is just a socity vision not the creator vision and stupid is not stupid because they do not believe in society vision. therefore, stupid is a person who love the way they are and do not want to be identify by society vision and smart is a person who follow society vision.
in that case, no such as thing stupid or smart becuase no one cresated him/her self but only the creator of the earth know who each person is but not human as yourself tell you who you are, as stupid or smart.

FREEDOM

I never felt this way before
I never felt this light weighted before,
Like a feather; I am free…
Free to fly in this wind,
And cherish to be the king pin

I am in love, with the chirping of birds
Sky’s painting with black, blue and grey color
all for me is God’s love.
This musical wind makes me sing
A song that have been written long back
But waited for the perfect octet,

He blessed me with rain
this drained away all my pain;
Each drop of rain bought new smile and hope
Gave me the courage to fight and never take a hop
They asked me not to get wet
Coz I may catch cold and take a set back.
“You see me wet!
I see me completely dried up
And all the sorrow and pain just like this rain have been drained up.”

I never felt this way before
I never felt this light weighted before,
Like a feather; I am free…
Free to fly in this wind,
And cherish to be the king pin

Once seems to be an endless road,
today seems to be the path to reach my goal
Once seems to be the cactus near road
Today seems to be the flower with beautiful escort.

I can fly, I can fly
I always said this to me
Today I am flying without any worries
Saying out loud I have found ME!

الملكة رانيا للشباب: عبر عن نفسك .. بثلاث كلمات فقط!
About this category: Media
